Todd Borchert (Tborchert@borchertlaw.com) has been practicing law in Minnesota since 1990, having graduated that same year from William Mitchell College of Law. Todd’s practice focuses on the areas of family law, probate and estate planning. He also has experience in the areas of personal injury. Todd enjoys taking the time to get to know his clients, their legal issues and working with his clients to develop creative solutions.
Born in 1963, Todd attended Shattuck School, where, in addition to his studies, he participated in cross country, wrestling and baseball. He remains passionate about baseball despite his playing days being in the past…but only just in the past. Todd then attended Grinnell College and the University of Minnesota, obtaining undergraduate degrees in political science, psychology and German before moving on to William Mitchell College of Law.
A native Minnesotan, Todd grew up in Fridley, resided in Northeast Minneapolis for 16 years and currently lives in New Brighton with his wife, Kathy, and their four children: Andrew, Patrick, Evan and Jessica. When prompted, Todd has been known to regale even casual acquaintances with stories of his children’s varied exploits. Away from the office, Todd coaches youth soccer, is a youth soccer administrator and enjoys spending time pursuing outdoor activities, particularly as a Scoutmaster with BSA Troop 119. Todd also enjoys woodworking, especially restoring older pieces to their original beauty.
Todd very much looks forward to assisting you with your legal needs and issues.
