A member of the Flakne family has been practicing law in Minnesota for over 80 years. The firm was started in 1924 by Kleve J. Flakne who had offices in downtown Minneapolis until his death in 1960. That was the same year that Gary Flakne became a lawyer and took over the firm. Gary maintained a Minneapolis office until he was appointed and later elected as the Hennepin County Attorney. In 1981 Brian graduated from law school and he and Gary set up Flakne Law Offices, P.A. The firm has maintained offices in Bloomington, MN for over 25 years. Recently the firm opened an additional office in Northeast Minneapolis in a converted warehouse building located at 1701 Madison Street, Minneapolis.
